I think the guy in this video is looking at technology all the wrong way, I think that putting down your phone and being a part of the world is great but people are not smart enough to do that correctly. If you take away technology then we're back to the old ways, where no one is informed about anything and no one has the courage to share their opinion, and where wars are started because of arguements. Technology gives everyone a common point, whether you love or hate that video on the Internet, there are thousand, maybe even millions that agree with you, it's a way to combine and share, and love, and create, and it can be a wonderful thing. So wonderful that when thousands of people leave the same comment on the same video the creator applogizes, or fixes it, etc. you cannot take away life but you cannot take away technology. The two forces must learn to coenside next to each other.

In 3rd grade I ran the Jog-A-Thon and tied for the most laps in my grade, this was my most successful physical task as the winners of the Jog went to the roller rink one day during school. A bunch of fellow students went and it made me feel seccessful for doing something as easy as just running. That's all I did, I just ran and put work into it and I won, at the time I didn't even know the winners went on the field trip.

Cinco de Mayo is certainly another excuse to party and for companies to sell stuff, but the moral is there for some people. America is a place where there are thousands of different cultures, Mexian heritiage just happened a to be one of the big ones, for buisness owners it's seen as an opertunity, for people who lived, died, experienced, etc it has meaning to, and I'm sure those people take offense to the buisness owners who are selling things for what they believe is an important holiday.

Journal for Monday, May the 4th be with you, 2015
I just like the journal topics in general, they all are opinionated and it makes the class, and myself feel like the reader cares about our expressive feelings.
